Medgar Evers College: Pitch Night + Masterclass
Last month we hosted our first Pitch Night and an Entrepreneurship Masterclass at Medgar Evers College. It was a huge honor that Professor Crump and Professor Kone made this event possible to share with the students about the entrepreneurial journey.
The highlight of the evening was toward the end when students built up the courage to introduce their businesses and provide an impromptu pitch about their businesses. It’s not easy standing in front of a group of peers and speaking about your ideas and business goals. But it becomes easier after the first time. That evening 10 students took one step closer to reaching their goals, by pitching their business for the first time in a room full of people.
Last week we did a partnership with StartUp Africa and hosted high school students from Kenya to pitch their business ideas.
